About David Live
David Live is for little updates, such as what is happening now. These might eventually turn into diary or journal entries on David’s Day. However, they are just Twitter-like snippets, also known as “Asides”. The David Live asides might also be found on other pages around this site, using my own form of categorisation called collections.

Me Live
Now, what can I write about…
Tuesdays have always been associated with grace, refinement, and courteousness. Children born on Tuesdays are believed to be full of goodwill and elegance. As the old adage goes — Tuesday’s child is full of grace. While I may not always embody elegance or refinement, I try to be courteous and have a big heart. You may be wondering why I am talking about Tuesdays. Well, I was born on a Tuesday in ’62, and here I am, turning 62 on another Tuesday. Life’s turned a full circle in a way that could only be described as “Tuesday-ish”!
I enjoy reading; however, I tend to read in streaks. I’ll read two or three books, one straight after another and then take a break before returning with some more. I have now started to read The Drift by C.J. Tudor. My first book of the year!
Once again, I find myself here—no updates for several days and no excuse. OK, I’ve been busy and spent two nights at my daughters’ house. But even then, I had my mobile, and how long does it take to update? Minutes! I really must start becoming more productive.
I woke early—circa 4:30 a.m. and could not get back to sleep. I still feel rough and have a sore throat, a cough and intermittent headaches. I’ve had this since the start of the year. However, I need to start working on something, but what?
I’m thinking of moving these live posts to regular posts. That way, I can get them to post to social media accounts automatically.
I have failed, and my New Year resolution has been blown into oblivion after one day of the year. It is now the 9th of January, and I have written nothing after just two updates on the first.
I want to say that I have been busy during this time, but I haven’t. Anyhow, today is another day!
I woke with a headache this morning, the morning after the night before—the night before being New Year’s Eve. However, I only had a couple of drinks—two Jarrold’s Sloe Gins with coke.
I am yet to fart so far this year. This is unusual because it is customary for me to have a new year poo around now!
Happy New Year Everyone
Monday morning, I’ve made it through to another week! I have lots to do, but I am still determining what I will do—I like to start each day with an open mind. I should crack on with Cruisez; however, I want to cogitate over one of several website concepts floating around my brain. Let’s see what happens.
For breakfast, I’ve been a bit naughty! I had toast, which isn’t a good idea for someone on a low-carb diet. However, we had some leftover bread, and I hate waste. Plus, I need to restock with ground almonds to make my low-carb bread.
Bethany called Ruth this morning to discuss arrangements for next Sunday. We are going to a pantomime. Oh, yes, we are! Beth also gave an update on the girls—they went out for a meal last night and apparently ate well. Good to hear.
I woke around 7 a.m., which was late for me. However, I got out of bed after 8. As always, my first job on a Sunday was to put the meat in the slow cooker for Sunday lunch and make Ruth and me a drink. Tea for Ruth and Coffee for me.
Finished! Well, probably! This is the first post in David Live, and it is here to say that David Live is now LIVE! It took a day to get it sorted, though it was only an hour’s work—thanks partly to Lily the cat and the grandchildren.
